To paint a 360-degree picture of the market forces and changes in the media industry, John La Rosa, General Manager Client Service – ANZ at Roy Morgan Research, is the Keynote Speaker. John will be providing a snapshot overview of the Australian media industry – trends, ownership and media consumption habits as well as an analysis of pertinent changes the media platforms will be facing.
We are also excited to welcome James Joyce, Executive Editor at Australian Community Media (ACM) to speak on how ACM’s local journalism gives communities a voice and delivers highly engaged audiences. James will be joined by Chris Nardi, Director of Sales – Publishing at Nine and Michael Wilbow, General Manager Sales – NSW SMB & Real Estate for News Corp. Drawing on their extensive experience and understanding, these three will speak on the climate of the media industry giving a glimpse of what is to come in the near future.
A Q&A Panel will be hosted by Geoff Sirmai whose journalistic experience and profile is among the highest in the country. With some 5,000 radio and 500 television appearances under his belt as broadcaster, radio presenter, television reporter and spokesperson, Geoff is sure to keep things lively and entertaining while fielding questions from the floor.
