My name is Kate Faithorn and I’m the newly arrived CEO for Leonards Advertising. Formerly known as Leonard Holt Robb, the agency has been operating since 1926 and is amongst Australia’s longest running media accredited agencies. Although we have been around for a long time, I think part of the reason we have survived is that we are always trying to adapt to changes within the media industry.
We created the Listening Post in line with our mission statement: listen, create, communicate. At the very core of Leonards’ philosophy is being able to understand and hear the needs of our clients. Our hope with the Listening Post is to answer a lot of the questions that our Clients might have but are often afraid to ask, such as what exactly is ‘Content Marketing’. In short, it is a journalist preparing independent information which has inherent value to the reader, but is linked to a campaign.
Leonards would like Clients to contact us with any questions that they might have to help us demystify the jargon of marketing. We want to equip our Clients with marketing and advertising knowledge in a rapidly changing media landscape.
